This page explains what we collect when you visit editing101.kkcreate.in or register for the Editing 101 workshop, why we collect it, who it goes to, and how to stop it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who we are

KK Create (“we”, “us”) runs the Editing 101 live workshop. This policy covers the website at editing101.kkcreate.in and the registration flow attached to it.

What we collect

Information you give us

Registration runs through TagMango, our payment and course platform. When you register you provide your name, email address and phone number. Payment details go directly to TagMango and its payment processors — we never see or store your card, UPI or banking details.

If you join the WhatsApp community, your phone number and WhatsApp profile name are visible to us and to other members of that group. That is how WhatsApp groups work, and it is worth knowing before you join.

Information collected automatically

Every page you open sends us basic usage data through three services:

About session recordings. Microsoft Clarity records how pages behave while you use them: mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and the page as it appeared on your screen. We use it to find where our pages confuse people so we can fix them.

It does not record other browser tabs, other applications, or anything outside this website, and we do not use it to identify individual people. Any ad blocker, or the opt-out below, stops it.

Why we collect it

Who your data goes to

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that run parts of this workshop for us:

ServiceWhat it handles
TagMangoPayments, registration records, course portal
ZoomHosting the live workshop session
WhatsApp (Meta)Community group and support chat
GoogleAnalytics, and the Add to Calendar link
MicrosoftClarity analytics and session recordings
VercelWebsite hosting and cookieless analytics

Each of these processes data under its own privacy policy. Some are based outside India, so your data may be processed abroad.

Cookies, and how to switch this off

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity both set cookies in your browser. Vercel Analytics does not, so there is nothing there to opt out of.

If you are visiting from Europe, we ask you first. Neither tool loads until you choose Accept, and choosing Decline means neither ever runs. Your answer is remembered on your own device — clearing your browser storage for this site brings the question back.

Wherever you are, you can stop the tracking at any time:

None of this affects your registration, your access to the workshop, or anything you have paid for.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s own retention policy — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity each expire raw data automatically, and we do not extend those defaults.

Registration and purchase records are kept for as long as we need them to support you and to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to us using the contact details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

This workshop and website are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
